Kia ora!
Today in class we were doing some PB4L, which stands for positive behavior for learning.
The idea of the lesson was- before you judge someone show empathy and make sure you have walked in there shoes, before you judge.
Its really important to show empathy because you don't know what they have been through and whats causing there bad behavior.
One of the characters we read was Patrick he seems to be always happy and smiling and he struggles but with his grades,he gets a bit getting picked on by his friend Jason and he plays rugby and is plays grade 4 instead of grade 6 with his friends and stuff. He is also normally upset and sad at home because he doesn't want to go to school.
Remember to stop before you talk and think if they would find what you are saying hurtful or if they would think its funny or a normal conversation. You have to show empathy and walk in there shoes.
Bye have a nice day.
